The location, , the comfort of the place , The bed was lovely and the shower was ace. it was a gem having the extra loo. loved the veranda, ideal for the dog. The location we were in was so quiet .

I liked the individuality of the huts The close proximity to the nearest shop, pub, and main road routes whilst still being tucked out of the way The well kept pond had lilies, fish and wildlife everywhere Our cabin had a living roof

This property is ideal for exploring the local area with easy walks around the headland. If you are in to scenery,wildlife or birdwatching then this is a very convenient base

The location was absolutely perfect for our particular interest in the natural world and bird watching in particular. The property is only a 10 minute drive to one of East Yorkshires premier Nature Reserves - Tophill Low, however the drive took us at least 40 minutes each time because there was so much wildlife to see on the local roads on the way - more than 30 bird species plus lots of Brown Hares and several Roe Deer. RSPB Bempton Cliffs (one of the RSPB's most important Reserves is little more than an hour away.

The property was central and everything we wanted was nearby - Bempton Cliffs for birdwatching; Sewerby Hall for Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition plus gardens and good cake; great fish and chips at Busy Bees round the corner. Property was super clean. High standard of furnishings, cupboards etc. Kitchen appliances great. Very friendly communications from hosts. Clear instructions. Great to have a key safe for one of the keys

The stay was lovely & peaceful. The host Neil was friendly and provided extra equipment for our babies. A cotbed and high chair. We will most definitely stay again when visiting our family in Yorkshire. Views, horses and seeing the sunset from our room was an extra bonus.

We stayed here in March for 4 nights whilst the worst of the knocking about for a new kitchen was being done. Perfect bit of peace and quiet! Very comfy and we had a couple of sunny days so the large enclosed verandah/terrace was lovely for sitting out with our dog. Great location with lovely beach walks. Cozy on the evenings and kitchen had all we needed.

The location and veranda great, a lot of stuff for kids + dog friendly! however we didn’t end up staying but the owners provided us an alternative location which worked out better in the end, just not the amenities that Haven provides, they were very accommodating and solved the problem straight away due to heating fault and we had a 5 month old and 6 year old. So we never got to experience Thornwick Bay unfortunately

Really enjoyed our stay, thanks to our friendly host Nick, Puffin Place was very spacious and clean and had every facility we needed, loved the huge bed and tv’s in every room. Great private location with big garden, lots of wildlife. Good for walking or driving to Flamborough and Thornwick Bay, would stay again.

This has to be the best guest house I've stayed in by miles. It was spotlessly clean, lovely warm rooms, nice hot showers & a fantastic freshly cooked breakfast to order. The proprietors could not do enough for me and my little dog. The sea was just across the road & there were plenty of places to eat within a short distance. I will definitely go back & stay there again.
