Savonlinna

The remoteness and being right in the middle of the forest. The “tent” was clean with a wood burning stove or ac for cooling. The location is very remote and it’s a bit of a climb to get there but it’s well worth the effort.
Mäntyharju
Jurtta Linkkumylly is situated in Mäntyharju and offers a terrace. This luxury tent has a garden and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the luxury tent's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. They gave us an amazing Finnish breakfast that met our vegan and vegetarian needs, and seemed like it was done by a professional chef. The lakeside location of the whole complex is incredible, with a beautiful sunset over the lake to finish the evening. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Puumala
Luksustelttailua Saimaan Pistohiekalla is located in Puumala. This luxury tent provides free private parking and a shared kitchen.

Friendly and warm welcome by Leila and Ari, got also a tip for a perfect evening stroll close by (asked as we were travelling with our dog). Cottage was very clean and the property well kept, all in all a super comfortable stay with out own bit of lake front facing the sunset. Highly recommended!
The house was really clean and well equipped. There was possible to go on the lake with paddle boat which was very nice with beautiful sunset. Staff was friendly and check in was easy. Definitely would recommend to other people and also visit again.
The place itself is very beautiful. The houses are located in the forest on the lake shore. You can enjoy beautiful sunsets, fishing, swimming, collecting berries and mushrooms. There are several walking trails close to the property with a clear markup. The staff was very helpful and supportive, and immediately fulfilled any request we had.
Title pretty much says it all. The cottage is large, would fit 6 people very comfortably. Facilities are incredible, with a private sauna, grill, rowboat, hammock and chairs at the dock. Everything was super clean. The view of the lake and island is incredible. Though we didn’t get to swim or dow because it was cold and drizzling. Note that the restaurant only opens in the summer months. The owner is very friendly and sweet, with two adorable dogs. There’s nothing to complain about. We definitely would come again in the summer!

Generally area is very nice, scenic sunsets, many places/spots to visit within 1,5h drive (Imatra, Lappeenranta, Savonlinna, Parikkala Sculpture park, Puumala, Järvisydan, Punkaharju, Linnansaari and Kolovesi National parks etc) -Free boats to explore the lake -New cottages with washing machine, drying cupboard, floor heating, own sauna -Distance between cottages allows enough privacy -Own coal grills for each cottage
