Great view to the castle at night! We liked outside sitting on terrace.

We loved the personal touches of this family run hotel, the owner was very friendly and went out of his way to make us feel at home. It was beautiful big unique room with charm, the sort of place you look back and remember fondly. Free tea/coffee/water/fruit. Central location. Hot shower with good pressure. Great hair dryer.
The pictures did no justice to how beautiful our place was! It was situated conveniently close to the city center, and the view from the garden was just perfect, especially during sunsets. The beds were comfortable and the space was enough for us group of 4.
The location beside a lake and in woodland was very calm, peaceful and beautiful. There was some interesting wildlife to see and lovely walks. It was very well catered for children and outdoor living.
Had a well made bed, hot shower, kettle... Basically had everything you need to stay a night comfortably.
If you are looking for an apartment type hotel, this is perfect for your stay. The apartment was huge and came with a terrace where you could watch the most beautiful sunsets. There was a washing machine in the room we stayed in which meant we were able to wash our clothes during our stay. We couldn't recommend this place enough and would stay here again without hesitation
Cosy single room perfect for one person - fridge in the room, electric heater, and good hot shower. Microwave and kettle outside on the landing. Amazing location minutes from the castle.

The location is amazing. We had a lovely swim in the lake and as the sunset over the water we made a fire and roasted some dinner. Beds were comfy and clean as was the bath room. Shower blocks were newly refurbished and very nice.
Spacious rooms with a beautiful view, great food in the restaurant and absolutely loved being able to book a private Sauna and whirlpool. The hotel is a small replica of the castle which is directly next door. Walking the castle grounds was lovely, and the castle tour was very interesting. Definitely visit the grounds at night, so beautifully lit. Tip- book the private whirlpool during sunset, perfect view of it from the private whirlpool.
