The kitchen, lounge space and toilet is well maintained. The garden area lit up at night makes the place feel atmospheric. The best recommendation I can give is driving down the road to the bakers fridge. Freshly made bread is delivered to the roadside outdoor fridge in the morning which we took back to the kitchen and had breakfast on the terrace. Absolute bliss! Have been here before so was a very easy decision not to look elsewhere. Large area with a decent sized wooden deck and BBQ. Grounded coffee as well as pods a terrific touch. Bed large and comfy and if you're a bit hungry drive 800m and get some fish and chips from Shane at Bronte Park General Store. Better book early as Derwent Bridge Wilderness hotel is about to close due to major renovations.
If you love nature and Tassie wildlife, this place is for you. Absolutely perfect for our trip towards SouthWest Tasmania. Wash facilities were great, hot showers and free laundry.
Being surrounded by nature and wildlife in this resort was a wonderful experience. Our upgrade to a spa cabin with verandah and combustion fireplace in the room was much appreciated. The breakfasts were tasty, great variety of foods and happy helpful staff.
Loved the wildlife coming in close, very quiet setting. Could hear the water from our safari tent
Excellent view, comfortable and spacious cabin with verandah. All facilities required. Quiet. Good wildlife. Good shower. Good parking.
Location location location. Loved the wilderness, the river, the cabins, the landscaping with native plants, loved the lack of conectivity-wifi and tv, the kayaking, the sunset
Lovely setting and cottage is nicely laid out with the verandah overlooking the creek. Nice hot shower.
Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village is a perfect location to base yourself for a day or two to explore this magnificent part of Tasmania. It is within strolling distance of the Parks visitor center The accommodation was clean and comfortable, however, a little tired. The setting is beautiful, with cabins nestled amongst the trees and wildlife. Hellyers restaurant was very good and I would have no hesitation in recommending treating yourself to a meal in front of the fire.
Lovely, quiet secluded cottage, surrounded by wildlife. Clean functional kitchen, hot shower and cost fireplace. Superb sunrise views over the water. Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway.
