The view from the room was amazing, especially the sunset. It was nice that breakfast was included. Also, the soft drinks were free.

Very helpful guys on reception. Great little apartment and good value for money. Very comfy bed. Close to great public transport system to get around San Diego although we walked to downtown. Don’t stay in the more expensive downtown. It’s deserted except for homeless people. It’s a bit heartbreaking .

Location was excellent in La Jolla. Restaurants close by as well as a bus service. The room was cleaned every day and the staff were very helpful. The head pool is great in very hot weather. Th main attractions of La Jolla are easily reached. The sunsets as seen from the beaches are amazing.

My wife and I spent Mar 10-15 at Sunset Cliffs. It was a beautiful little hotel with fantastic views of the ocean and sunset! The staff especially Katelyn were excellent! Rooms were cleaned daily and it was such a romantic time!

The hostel is right by the beach and has amazing sunset views from the common deck where a lot of travellers hang out. They had a free barbecue dinner for everyone on Sat night which was super fun. Super convenient for surfers to rent boards and wet suits and go out surfing.

What a great host and a great location. We liked the area a lot, the casita is very close and in walking distance to a huge varitety of cafes, restaurants and bars. The sunset on the balcony is a beauty.

Our Bay View room, 233, looked out on San Diego Bay, North Island Naval Air Station and downtown San Diego. We saw helicopters, Navy Destroyers, cruise ships, fishing boats, seagulls and the odd pelican. Sunrises were wonderful and at sunset, the buildings of downtown lit up with fire. Great hot tub. Great happy hour.
