For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Everything except for the restaurant which is still ok considering it’s in the middle of the desert. The Thai cuisine is good, breakfast also great, but the middle eastern style restaurant less so. Maybe it’s just because we re not used to this kind of cuisine. Too much lamb and sheep meat. Everything else was fabulous though
Very tranquil. The tents were excellent and well set up in amongst the palm trees. I would recommend going for the ones nearest the washrooms, as otherwise the walk through the palms at night might be challenging. External showers were lovely, though basic. Staff were very friendly (when we could find them).
Awesome place in middle of Mountains and Desert, a place for relaxation and beautiful view from the Chalet, fun to be there with family, recommend to go with 2 or 3 families together, Owner of the property is very nice person and ensures that your stay at property is comfortable, helpful and available 24/7 for any assistance
Breakfast was amazing, Saffron was delicious, Bicycle was great fun, Spa was one of the best. Staff were outstanding. Stunning resort design blended within Ashar Valley's desert setting and natural rock formations beauty. We were completely amazed by its stylish design surrounded by the natural beauty and couldn't get enough of it.
Wonderful experience at Husaak Glamping. They very kindly allowed us to check in early after our flight. The tents are very spacious and the bed comfortable. Yes it gets cold at night but it was cosy in bed. Clean toilets and hot showers. Bring a warm jacket for outdoors in the evening. Breakfast was very nice, especially the curried halloumi. Most places to stay in Al Ula are 6 star and $$$$ so this is an excellent alternative. Easy 15 minute walk to Winter Park where the tour buses leave.
Tents were fantastic, very comfortable, clean and warm. Beds were cosy and heater made chilly evenings really lovely. The views in the morning were awesome, very inspiring. The breakfast is a must and was brought to your tent at time of your choosing. For a comfortable desert experience, I would highly recommend and will definitely return next time I’m in Al Ula.
The caravan site gave the most unique experience in the Al Ula desert. The sunset and sunrise were beautiful and spectacular. The food was nice and the gathering tent feels like you’re in the Arabian Nights.
The host was very friendly and the tents provided a terrific experience in the desert, especially waking up to the backdrop of the mountains and a decent cooked breakfast of local dishes.
The setting is stunning! The surrounding mountains are beautiful especially in sunset, and the tent is set in between palm trees so there was some shade. There's even a citrus tree grove next to the tents which were in bloom and smelt incredible. Our tent had a small private bathroom next to it with running water. The tent itself was so pretty and had twin beds and electricity. There was even a shared seating area in a large tent and outside which the stunning view, where a good Arabic breakfast was also served. I'd defo come again!
