Incredible and authentic experience in the desert. We were warmly welcomed. The camp is very beautiful and located at the bottom of the dunes which is perfect for observing the sunset and sunrise easily. The meal was delicious varied we were able to discover Oman specialties. Many thanks to Farouk, Saïd, Muba for their kindness. We had a problem and they were very present to help us. It was an unforgettable experience not to be missed.

We arrived at the evening, and stayed for two days, and therefore they upgraded our accomodation for a nice, big stone house with huge windows.
They hat a golfcar for transferring us and our luggages as well.
Dinner is super great buffet with bbq as well.
We had a private jeep tour with a great guide, and also ridden a quad, both worthed their price.
Staff is very kind, the owner made the transfer in and out of the camp.

Accommodation was beautiful and comfortable. The outside shower was actually a very welcome experience. The food was excellent. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind. The fantastic and in depth astronomy and star gazing activity was the absolute highlight.

Our stay at Rashid Desert Private Camp was one of a kind! Rashid is such a great and kind host, we felt very welcomed. We drank coffee and ate dates with him and had a really nice talk. He drove us to our booked camel ride close by, which we enjoyed a lot. He also joined us for the very delicious dinner and breakfast. We really liked how private the camp was, with only a few tents. All in all, it was a great experience that you shouldn’t miss out.

The place of the camp in the dunes is amazing. 360 degrees view over the desert. Nice place for sunset and so quit, that you can just hear the wind and the sand. Lovely tents, with really big bed and much space in the room. Very traditional place to stay, with so much love of details. The food was always frech and cooked on an open fire. The stuff are nice and always helpful. A nice memorier to never forget!
The camp is located in the desert and all is so beautiful - the tents are fitting in the nature in colors. The tents are very comfortable - but you are in a tent. The food is good, staff nice. The nigths are quiet, sunset and sunrise a unique experience and the dark nigths with lots stars. We will never forget this place and it will stay in our hearts
We had 2 tents for our party of 6. The tents were lovely with clean and comfortable beds and private bathrooms😁 Both breakfast and dinner was great. We did sunset camel trip which was well worth doing, and quad biking in the morning which the kids loved! Highly recommend this camp. Only 20 min into the desert, but it's in a great spot.
Loved everything about our stay in this desert camp. The drive there, the camp itself, the location, the buffet - it was a whole experience we will not forget.
I was first not sure about the comfort of the “basic” sheikh tent but it was absolutely amazing!! We did not book any activity but instead went on a small walk along the dunes during sunset and it was just magical.
According to the staff the pool of the private pool tents is heated, just in case this information helps anyone to decide.
Desert is magic, and this tented camp is amazing. It is the last one of the "line of tended camps" so no one drive as crazy in front of you. Tents are for four persons whit enought space for backpacks or suitcases. Bathroom is outside but with all facilities (be careful when you open water sink...at the begining it is boling). Camp offer a lot of things: camel drive, dune bashing, etc. Even a transport if you doesn't rent a 4WD.

An amazing experience in this camp owned by Sayid and his family.
We had a wonderful welcome, kids enjoyed different activities as camel ride and sledding on the dunes. The camp is located high on the dunes, view and sunset are amazing.
The tents have really comfortable beds.
I would recommend this camp if you are looking for an authentic Omani desert experience.
It was really hard to say goodbye.
Super cozy and cool place in the middle of the desert. The food was amazing and the tents were very spacious, nice and comfortable. I was happily surprised with the bathroom which was a proper bathroom, like with toilet and shower and all, it was great. The sunset tour is a must!
