I think Said (the host) is one of the friendliest Omani I met during my trip. He is so kind and generous. It wasn't a busy day and I was the only guest that day, but we drove around in the dessert, meet some local Bedouin people and had a great BBQ and at the end of the day we shut down all the lights in the camp and looked at the stars. Had a wondefull time!

“We recently had an incredible stay at Desert Daimond Camp and felt compelled to share my positive experience. Although I arrived late and I missed the sunset but yet, from the moment we arrived, the welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The camp’s serene desert surroundings added a unique charm to my stay. The accommodations were not only comfortable but also thoughtfully designed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. What truly stood out, though, was the team’s expertise in curating unforgettable desert experiences. I still remember the aroma of the zaatar ☕️ tea. Dinner and breakfast upon your request and the quantity was generously enough. I highly recommend to anyone seeking a unique and enriching desert getaway. My sincere thanks to the entire team for creating such a remarkable experience. I look forward to returning in the future!” And it’s very soon 😍 I want to book the entire camp ⛺️ for one group 🙏

Small camp with only 2 tents - made it very cozy and familiar Ali was a great host - very entertaining. Too bad he could not stay longer during our stay to share more about the life of the beduins Great that you could just walk up on a nearby sand dune do view sunset and sunrise

The small size (2 tents only), the remote location, the level of service, the attention to details. I advise to do the desert tour as well with them if you like having sensations in 4x4 in the dunes.

The camp is located inside the desert and requires a 4x4 to access. The site is magical and the tents are luxurious and well appointed. The experiences are also very apt and engaging - dune bashing, camel rides and gazing at starry skies while listening to the owner tell you stories of life in Oman. The staff was also extremely helpful. Overall a night that will be etched in our memories for ever.

The property was right in the middle of the desert, facing the dunes. It was expansive with a majlis, a restaurant surrounded by tents and rooms. The food served tasted good. The staff was kind and always ready to help.

The domes have everything you need and more at a standard which is unbelievable for the desert. The hospitality of the staff is generally great in Oman, but here even exceptional. I absolutely recommend to stay more than one night to slow down. If you need action go with the team dune bashing. I also recommended a desert (safari) trip and have some coffee and dates way-out in desert with really no one close by. Overall, this team does not offer you just an accommodation, it creates unforgettable memories.

Very accommodating and helpful staff. The camp is quite close from the city, which makes it easily accessible with 4WD car, while still being far enough to feel the desert vibe. The tents are comfortable and clean. Food was great (we had diner and breakfast). I also recommend going for dune bashing with sunset. All in all, good value for money 🙂

Amazing small desert camp for a local authentic experience. Local host Saeed is very nice, easy to communicate with and can pick you up if you do not have a 4X4 to get to the camp. The tents are basic but all facilities are there and sufficient. Camp is just next to the dunes, where you can climb up to see the magical sunset (and/or sunrise). Recommended taking the dinner (we had delicious fresh fish from the bbq) and breakfast that is offered at extra costs for the full experience.
