The location was good. The kitchen could be better equipment. Not enough contents.

Lovely spacious twin bedded room overlooking a colourful street of houses with a little peek of the water & the sunset. Comfy beds, warm and clean. Felt home from home. Loved the lounge area, breakfast had good choices. Lovely touch to provide coffee & croissants for those with a very early pre breakfast start. Reception staff friendly & welcoming - we didn’t want to leave ! Tours pick up from the nearby bus stop 15 , very handy. Our room was upgraded to include spa access which was a real treat .

Location was fantastic for Reykjavik, close to food, bars, attractions and I managed to get some nice sunset views from my window.

Lovely hotel, nice walk up Laugavagur into the city centre (20mins). Great location for tours, connections, etc as one of the city's main bus stops is right outside the front door! Breakfast buffet has a bit of everything. Restaurant is good value also and Patryck, our waiter, was lovely and great fun. Room was spacious and always clean, nice hot shower.

Big sunny studio apartment with views one way down the street to the big church and the other way to the sea. Lovely afternoon sun and peaks of sunset through the buildings too. Good kitchen with big fridge and oven and stovetop plus microwave and comfy couch and dining table.

The rooms were really clean, warm and nice hot showers. The receptionist was helpful with directions and tried to find us a new room but unfortunately the hotel was full.

Plentiful free parking, good location and friendly staff. Lobby was nice. Don’t worry about the egg/sulphur smell when using hot shower water - this is normal due to how hot water in Iceland works, it is safe and you won’t smell after using the shower.

Absolutely phenomenal hotel. Perfect location and less than 5 minutes walk to a beautiful lake with swans where I spent every sunrise and sunset. The room was incredible and also had Netflix which as a solo traveller was awesome for the evenings. This is my favourite hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I travel once a month. Staff on the front desk were endlessly helpful and friendly

The room was clean and warm. The beds were really comfy, cosy duvets. Nice hot shower with great water pressure and two showerhehads. Each floor has a hairdryer. Hostel was almost fully booked while we were there but it wasn't noisy at all. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need for basic cooking. Staff were friendly. Easy self check in and out.
