The location of Jonny’s place is stunning, nestled amongst the rice fields of Tetebatu and (if you’re lucky enough) a view of the beautiful Rinjani. The sound of nature and Jonny’s family living their day to day life is truely beautiful. The room is comfortable with a fan and mosquito net with a firm but still pleasant bed. We chose to eat here and were glad we did, as it was incredibly tasty & the portion sizes were very generous (some of the best meals we’ve eaten in Indo). The children were very cute also!

We had an absolutely lovely time at myhome. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Sukry was the best host and he gave us a tour through the ricefields which was very informative and beautiful. Sukris sister is an amazing cook, who made us the best meals. The view from the terrace was very pieceful, we enjoyed reading our book in the hammocks. Hopefully we will stay at homestay again in de future.

The owners were really nice and helpen with everything I needed. They even had a hot shower, did not expect that. The room is cozy and has a fan. Its not to hot to sleep at night. And also nice food. I did a tour with Suef and it was amazing, saw lots of waterfalls, beautifull ricefields and monkeys!

The location is just beautiful! Rooms are good and very clean. In front of the rooms is a nice garden with hammocks, just a beautiful place to chill or to watch the sunset. The environment of Tetebatu is also very beautiful: the half day trekking is definitely worth it! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good as well. Would recommend everyone to spend between 2-3 days here.

Avocado Homestay is a little gem. It’s still pretty new. The outside area is really nice. Beds are comfy. It has huge potential to be a very special place! Went for a sunset walk with the staff around the village and fields. +the avocados taste yummy. For dinner we went to his uncles place. So support this new homestay and create something beautiful

Great value for money! Friendly staff/family there who were extremely helpful and kind. The room is very very good for the price, what I would expect from a higher price point even! Very clean and comfortable. The sunset view from here is absolutely epic. Cute kittens running around. You feel like you’ve just stepped into paradise.

Without a doubt my number 1 place to stay in the area, and I’ve stayed in a few. The place is set in a beautiful lush tropical garden. A lot of thought has been put into the place, with hammocks, swings, a hairdryer and a plug in anti mosquito thing. The food is the best I’ve eaten in Indonesia, real home cooked so don’t expect it within 10mins. I’d 100000% recommend this place ❤️

Cute boutique property with lovely pool and view of the rice fields and Mt Rinjani (when it is not hiding behind the clouds). Very friendly staff and I enjoyed all the breakfasts and dinners I had here on my 3 night stay. My room was in fair condition for the price paid, I would definitely suggest trying to get one of the newer bungalows as they looked better. A nice surprise that my room had a hammock (who doesn't love a hammock).

the whole experience of staying at vanilla cottages was the best we’ve had in the last 5 months of travelling. Hir and his lovely family were amazing hosts - their food was delicious (and made vegan on request) he took us on a tour of the village and also to visit the waterfalls and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were great, comfy bed, hot shower, hammocks and beautiful scenery. We felt so at home and we’re so sad to leave - can’t wait for our next visit !
