For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
The location by the river was excellent. The food was good and the dining area was nicely presented. The staff were welcoming and helpful in the restaurant. We liked the upper garden with sunset views of the river. There was plenty of outside seating and parking space.
A lovely location. Lots of walking opportunities and plenty of wildlife. Room very clean. Bed comfortable and shower was good. Coffee/tea/water bottle and biscuits are topped up every day. Staff helpful. There's a very good pub next door and serves excellent food.
Excellent situation - lots of wildlife came to visit! Spotlessly clean, very well-equipped, comfy bed, excellent telly, designated parking place. John and Tanya are very pleasant owners. Couldn’t fault anything.
Clean, comfortable property in a beautiful and peaceful location. Very comfortable beds. We saw a lot of wildlife from the windows, including rabbits, pheasants, squirrels and deer. Chairs, tables and a bench provided for sitting outside and enjoying the sun. Good shower. Plenty of space.
Lovely stay in spotless, comfortable and warm accommodation. Wonderful place for wildlife fans with an array of birds visiting the feeders. Deers, badger and fox all made an appearance which was a treat for us. Gorgeous location perfect for walking and adventuring types alike. Butterfly zoo 15 min walk away worth a visit and pub called the old ferrie inn to walk to for a nice meal and couple of drinks. Perfect. 👌
the location was in a lovely area close to river pubs and good walking from the doorstep. The property was very well equipped, clean with comfy furniture and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Nice scenery from windows at front. Lovely to watch the local wildlife from chalet.
The property was spacious, with lots of home comforts & lovely touches - soap in the bathroom, cleaning products and a dishwasher. The loacation was perfect was visiting lots of sites in the area. There was lots of wildlife in the area, including badgers, deer & rabbits. Near to local canoeing too.
The location was excellent - right next to the river Wye and the chain ferry with beautiful views from the restaurant terrace and our window. We went for a beautiful walk along the river from the doorstep and saw so much wildlife. Breakfast was lovely and dinner at the pub was excellent. The staff were all really friendly and even accommodated us having breakfast earlier. Would definitely return!
