Breakfast was excellent, good choice, hot and tasty. Variety of drinks, pastries, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, yoghurts, cereal, yogurt and granola etc. Clean room. Clean bedding. Tea and coffee in room. Hot shower and easy to use heating. Good lighting and lamps. Polite and helpful staff. Staff ordered us a taxi that arrived quickly. Maps of the area were provided.

Stayed here several times in the last 12 months and it's so easy to be a loved guest here, so much so that you want to stay for longer! The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by countryside and wildlife. Its close proximity to Leeds makes this a real hidden gem. The staff are professional and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food in the restaurant, the breakfast dining and room service is all excellent. There is a relaxing bar, quiet libraries and plenty of privacy in the unique well-kept rooms. A real joy to stay here!

A view of the cricket field, facing sunset over the Western Terrace and I witnessed some historical cricketing (Harry Brook on fire). Room was large and had chairs/mini-table.
