For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Comfortable reclining beds and good hot showers. Warm room - and was a cold week. Good sound proofing so had no noise from adjoining rooms. Plenty of storage space - hairdryer and ironing board and tv. Great location for centre of Edinburgh- all in walking distance (if you are active - Edinburgh is on a hill!)
Location. Close to the airport. Easy access to tram line.
Clean, hot shower
Complimentary tea and coffee in reception
Good sized towels
Shower gel smelt nice
Amazing location right next to Victoria Street and lots of restaurants and pubs nearby, short walking distance to Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street tram stop which is very handy to travel from/to the airport.
Apartment itself is very spacious and clean. Great heating for cold winter, hot shower and it has well equipped kitchen and amenities. Host was very responsive with our questions and helpful for recommendations. Easy and smooth self check in and check out.
We had lovely stay and will recommend it to others.
Perfect location. Good value for money for a short stay. Warm rooms, good facilities. Hot shower. Toiletries and tea/coffee provided. Can always get spare towels etc. Able to lock luggage away while out for the day as well.
Terrace Hotel was unexpectedly spacious and very comfortable. The room was clean and bright. Location was good, just a 10 minute walk to the nearby shopping centre and tram and bus stops. The breakfast offered a good choice and was delivered promptly to our door each morning. Staff were helpful and access to the property was easy as we came back late from the Edinburgh Tattoo. The bathroom was a bit small but perfectly adequate with a nice hot shower. Good value for money.
