Great room, with a little kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, 2-hob cooker, and enough utensils, etc. The location was awesome - easy walking distance to the castle, Holyrood, train station and heaps more sight seeing things. Good security. Comfy bed and nice hot shower. Right next door to a small supermarket for supplies. The staff were lovely and really helpful and security for the building was great.

Very pleasant owner and family. We arrived early and the owner very kindly let us access the room. We were also able to park onsite which was a great relief as we didn't need the car during our stay in Edinburgh. The room was very clean and comfortable. All the basic elements required with a nice comfy bed and hot shower. Local bus service within 100 metres to travel direct to and from the centre. Local pub The Old Bell served good food. Pity the weather wasn't a bit better but we had a really good time.

Great quiet location walking distance to all main attractions. Very close to Holyrood Palace, Holyrood park for great hike, city views, sunset. It is almost on Poyal Mile (other end) so it is close walking distance to all other main attractions.
