This hostel is very well organized! Very active and social team which is soooo important for a proper hostel. As a solo traveler, the best way to experience Egyptian night life, beaches, activities I.e. stargazing and desert safaris. The team is incredible! Very helpful and social. Special thanks to Matthew who set up a detailed list of places to visit in Egypt. Ending my review with the most important information: Layla is the BEST!!!

Mainly stayed only for sleeping, the room was very sizable nd great ocean view, could see the sunrise and sunset with 180 degrees. It’s shame the area has lots of deserted buildings and this resort is also quite old but that’s the vibe in Hurghada overall, not just here. However, people were so kind and nice, breakfast was okay:) mainly enjoyed the eggs that chef make for you and the yogurt. The beach area seemed pretty nice, didn’t have chance to enjoy myself though.

We spent two weeks in Citadel. It was two fantastic weeks. The stuff is so nice, helpful and friendly. The hotel is fantastic if you like snorkling. We also went in boattrips with the company in the hotel and that's really to recommend, and also the safari whit the atv in the desert. 10 out of 10 😍😍

The view from our room was spectacular. It was one of the best sea views I have seen. Early check-in option was very good as our plane arrived around midnight we had a good nights rest before the day. We stayed a total of 3 nights in the hotel. Great value for money. We did the tours (snorkelling, paradise island and desert safari) while we stayed in the hotel so we used the hotel only for shower and sleeping. The emloyees were great and welcoming.

Good location, very helpful staff and owner, comfort beds. The owner Mr. Adil is so cool and helpful man and trying to do his best with his slow words and giving reasonable prices for desert safari and red sea diving. In Egypt, many people are trying to cheat you in many ways and you can trust Mr. Adil. I want to ask Mr. Adil to make suggestions for shopping stores, rent car agents and places to eat with reasonable prices. Almost all the trade owners cheated us, so we need more suggestions for fair places from Mr. Adil.

Amazing place with a relaxed atmosphere and new facilities. The design of the hotel is beautiful and the view of the sea is great. Good breakfast for a very convenient price and friendly staff. The beds are super confortable! You can book diving trips/courses (the equipment is of great quality) as well as other activities such as the desert safari. Special thanks to Thomas, the manager!

I enjoyed my stay at Adam's home. The place is close to a privately accessible beach, it has amazing reefs, with spectacular sunset, so was brilliant! He arranged day trips, a snorkelling and desert quad bike ride excursions. He kept the place always clean and regularly changed sheets and towels. Every morning he cooked hot breakfast and sometimes we cooked together our dinner. The WiFi was good, as I did WhatsApp calls in the evening to my family, and everything was great! Keep up Adam..

The Hotel staff were amazing, good welcome especially because we were a group of 12 ppl including kids. The food was good but if you are staying there for 7 days it gets slightly monotonous. The Hotel has good staff who help you organise activities like desert safari, scuba diving. They even gave us complimentary room upgrades which was nice of them. All and all a good holiday.
