Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
The retreat was beautiful. It is set in a gorgeous rainforest setting. It’s very quiet and you can hear the birds and other wildlife. Very relaxing. The cabin itself was nice and comfortable and very warm with the aircon. The beds were comfortable and the shower was lovely. The staff were also friendly and welcoming. It’s also very close to the beach and a cafe up the road which serves great food. Will definitely be back. This place is great if you feel like being amongst nature and want to relax.

Good sized room. Very clean. Good, hot shower with plenty of pressure. Complimentary bottled water is a nice touch. Very helpful and friendly staff on Reception (Paul).

Our favorite calm water beach was Shoal Bay, perfect for swimming, clean and relaxed feel.
Very quiet street and neighborhood. Big yard for cooking bbq, bbq equipment supplied. Comfortably sleeps 8 in 4 rooms. Downstairs can be used for 2 snorers or young family. Nice view of mountains, trees, ocean from the front. Front & back verandah good for relaxing and enjoying views. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you would need.
The views of Nelson Bay were fantastic both from the verandah and the kitchen/dining area. The weather was amazing and the sunsets were spectacular.
