For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
Room was larger than expected with a sitting area. I had all the facilities I needed - clean bathroom with hot shower, comfy bed, access to a kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave and fast wifi. Would recommend this property.

Good rooms. A bit dated but well maintained. Friendly service. Ballarat central and key attractions like sovereign Hill and wildlife Park are about 10 mins away. Mini Golf is next door. If you're not super fussy about the age of the building, this is a great place to stay for families.
The lodge itself exceeded my expectations, it was a beautiful chalet with a veranda, compact yet spacious and with everything you would need for a self catering holiday, very clean and modern with air conditioning making it a relief to enter in extreme hot weather. I really enjoyed my short stay. It felt safe for a single traveller and gated access with a code meant I could come and go out of hours. The lodge had dedicated parking right outside. Would definitely stay again if I could have the same lodge, I loved it!
Mostly I loved the quiet and being able to watch the sunset from the beautiful loungeroom windows. The room was so comforting. I loved the clean bathroom, the comfortable mattresses and the red bedside lampshades that were gentle on your eyes in the evenings. These details make all the difference. This guesthouse had everything you needed! A lot of thought was put into it. Denise was an absolute pleasure to communicate with.
The location was ideal, quiet residential area and close to the Wildlife Park. The home was very spacious for our family, with a separate games room and TV area, with an open kitchen, dining and tv area. The bedrooms were presented in warm and attractive style, as were the bathrooms, with fresh linen and towels.
