The real highlight though was the bed which was surprisingly big, comfortable for a hostel, and had a privacy screen. This was all much appreciated as I acclimated to the altitude.

The front desk person speaks really good English. Way way better than any other places I’ve stayed that tells me they speak little English. Was able to give me information on a lot things. Was missing hair dryer just needed to ask the front for one. Location easy to find and steps away from the ruin entrance. Hot water comes out in 30 secs with good pressure. The night could be a little cold like any other places in Peru I’ve stayed so far. Had the option for scrambled eggs which was nice.

We were able to leave our bags here after checkout and explore the city before our next trip. It seems the hotel is not from a chain, and therefore there is a more "homey" vibe. The people were incredibly helpful and friendly. We were allowed to checkin early. Jorge and his wife was lovely throughout and helped with all my questions. I would definitely recommend this apartment. The location is amazing and the apartment was spotless.
Maribel was a really great host. She was very kind and gave us a lot of information about Cusco. She also communicates very clearly and promptly via WhatsApp. She even helped us prepare some water and snacks on the morning when we had to leave early for our hike. Casa Durand is was very clean and comfortable. Location was perfect as it was very close to the main square, shops and amenities but yet enough to get away from the noise of the centre. I will highly recommend the stay!

The property is clean, in a great location, and the staff are kind. Its cozy, has running water, and clean beds. There’s tea and bottle drinks available (the tea is free, the drinks are not), bathrooms, a kitchen, and also paid laundry services available. I highly recommend for a no-frills stay in Cusco!
Highly recommended. Great location,room and hospitality at a very reasonable price. Very comfortable bed, large smart tv, hot shower with good water pressure. Everything was spotlessly clean.
I highly recommend a stay at Gold Garden. The service is impeccable, they go over and beyond to ensure that your experience is positive. The room was beautiful, comfortable and kept very clean. The breakfast was copious and delicious. They even provided a lunchbox when our tours left too early for us to enjoy the breakfast in the beautiful(heated) courtyard. The location is ideal, close to everything, but far enough that we slept like babies during our 7 night stay.
Ideal location and the room was big and comfortable. We had a balcony which was beautiful and it had a great view overlooking the city. They also offered lots of cheaper tours and we did their ATV tour which was amazing.
The room was spacious, very clean with a comfortable bed. A flat screen TV with Netflix was in the room. There was a mini mart and a very good cheap laundry available. Quiet location approximately 10 minutes walk from the centre. Julio, the owner, spoke very good English and was always available via WhatsApp if we needed anything.
The location is good, just 10 minutes walking from plaza de armas. The hostel installations were a bit old, but still in a good shape and very clean. The staff was also very friendly and helped with every question. The Wi-Fi is very good in the living room, I worked from there. Hot showers. Would definitely recommend, it’s a nice budget option.
