Location was extremely close walking distance from Cuba street and the waterfront / Te Papa. The kitchen and bathroom were both very clean and neat, providing minimal / expected facilities. Staff especially were very helpful and kind, consistently going out of their way to accommodate for us: lending umbrellas during our stay, helping find the most affordable form of taxi transport etc.
Staff were helpful. It's a budget stay, so cheap. Having Cooktop in room was beneficial to cut down on costs and coffee near reception. Good location.
We had a fantastic stay at Hillcrest Home! The room was spotless and perfect for relaxing after day of exploring. And the host is friendly and incredibly welcoming. The location is ideal and only a short walk from main attractions and restaurants. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return.
Accessible, with great views. Ideal location for exploring Coromandel. Although basic, it was perfect for our needs for one night. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Tairua beach club restaurant is a 3 minute walk away and we had the most delicious meal there.

The room was very clean, well stocked with biscuits, coffee, tea, chocolate and plenty of towels. The bathroom was spotless and everything worked well, nice quality towels and bed, good facilities.
