There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The bed and breakfast has a sun terrace and spa facilities. We stayed at the due ensuite. We had an amazing time. Everything was spotless and VERY welcoming. Contrary to previous reviews I have read, the landlady didn't crowd our breakfast times at all and made sure she was going to the garden to water the plants or doing things next door. She has been very helpful every time we needed to ask her for advice and I truly recommend that you go there. The location is amazing as it is only ten minutes from the lovely windmills. You can easily park in the street or on the supermarket free carpark opposite the road. On her advice, we took the car to the krommieren Assendelft park and ride carpark and hopped on the train to Assendelft for 20 euros for a day return for the two of us. Trains run from 6am to 2 am. The ride lasts a bit less than 30 minutes. Thanks for everything Cynthia!

There is a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer in each unit, along with free toiletries. exceptional! very cozy and lovely property. we enjoyed our stay very much. very easy to reach Amsterdam by public transportation, also towns like Zaanse Schans and Zaandam. it is also very easy to reach Lisse from there by car and explore the near beaches. the staff was very friendly and helpful! the accomodation was very big, very clean, we felt really at 'home', The decor is cozy it also has a beautiful garden. The neighborhood is calm and we felt safe there as well. everything was great! we will for sure come back again!

Double room in private home is a recently renovated homestay in Zaandam, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. My partner and I booked this stay in the winter, expecting terrible weather and hoping for a place to hibernate and relax after a long year. We were not disappointed :) We particularly enjoyed the spa bath and the projector with streaming services ! The sauna too was lovely, and easy to use following the video instructions kindly sent by the host. There is also a hot tub and fireplace on the balcony. The apartment was clean and beautifully presented, and the bed was super comfortable! It was also well equipped with everything one could need - soaps, shampoo, conditioner, bath salts, hairdryer, robes and plenty of fluffy towels - tea and coffee, mini fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, portable stovetop, cutlery and plates etc We found the location to be well connected and easy to reach from Amsterdam Centraal via public transport. It is also worth mentioning that the host is very friendly, helpful and attentive! Perfect place for couples, very relaxing stay any time of year.
