One of the best accomodations weve stayed in! Spacious room, great wifi, shower & aircon. Water pressure was very good. Location was fantastic so close to the beach & all the bars/restaurants. Filtered water. Breakfast was amazing, big portions with coffee & different items each day. Rafa also organised a taxi for us to the border at the best price we found!
Tola

Lovely stay at Casa de Gio, we extended our stay to 3 nights. The room is comfortable and very clean, bathroom is fine. Cold shower but honestly you only want a cold shower cause it's so hot. You can spend an extra $10 USD per night for use of the aircon but we were fine with a fan. Loved the hammock outside the room for relaxation. The location is great with a supermarket close to town. We recommend Cornerhouse for a coffee or smoothie!
The property was in a prime location, was spotlessly clean including the communal kitchen, had friendly staff and had very thoughtful touches in each of the rooms e.g. the brightness of the ceiling lights could be adjusted. Being able to walk to the water in seconds and then return to the hammock on the balcony was bliss. There’s a small, quiet bar open next door to watch the sunset and two great cafes for breakfast/lunch within walking distanced as well as a small shop.
Great location right on the beach, comfortable room not too hot at night, cheapest place we could find in Popoyo
Perfect location - very central and easy to get to everything with a scooter. Miguel is wonderful and can set you up with anything you need - including transport on the mainland. The cabin is tucked away and very private (it's a bit of a walk but we had a scooter so we were fine). The bathrooms are kept very clean. The whole place is a natural oasis - wildlife everywhere: monkeys, goats, butterflies, birds. It was such a unique experience and we were sad to leave!
Very clean, really well decorated, rooms and bathrooms are a good size. Lenin was a great and helpful host. So far the best hostel I have stayed in. 5 mins away from the main bus stop and in a great location. Really recommend a stay here.

The hostel staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always available to make your stay memorable. As a solo female traveler, I found this place safe and welcoming. The hostel's design is stunning, the dormitories are impeccable, and privacy is respected. Additionally, its ideal location just a 2-minute walk from the ocean and 5 minutes from the fantastic surf spot at Santana Beach makes it a perfect choice. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Nicaragua.
Very cute cabin and a nice space. Cheap for having a whole cabin to yourself. Location is great only slightly off the centre, totally safe and fine to walk at night. Kitchen facilities are good.
Great location. Just 5 min walk to the beach. Also all restaurants for lunch and dinner were nearby. Really affordable for low budget trips.
