Beautiful jungle around the "resort" with lots of birds and other animals. We were trying to see cuscus at many nights but didn't have luck. Luckily we saw "flying squirrel" which was very cute. Lovely dogs!

Very warm and welcoming atmosphere in the whole homestay and woooooowwww, the food is the best I had in all Raja Ampat. Healthy with many options and they can adjust to your needs. But again, the staff and people is what make this place extra special with all their help support advice and offerings they have. We've visited almost every location for snorkeling and diving on Raja Ampat (you should pay for the boat). We'd a very diverse menu and a true natural Papua environment.

The property offers sea views. It was beautifully maintained and so clean. Beds were very comfortable and views from the room were amazing. It honestly is so much nicer than it even looks in photos. The house reef is incredible to snorkel at - clown fish right outside your patio at high tide. Banana fritters delivered to you every afternoon around 4-5. Power (and fan) all night. Bathrooms kept clean and were “comfortable” to use :) they had some great snorkel tours offered - we enjoyed the Mansuar tour (4-5 snorkel stops + sandbar and was a half day) & gam tour (a few snorkel spots, some amazing “passages”, and mangroves… this was a full day tour and we travelled all around gam). The dog (Goldie <3 ) is the sweetest thing - we would leave water out for her and feed her our scrap chicken and fish. She didn’t beg but was so grateful for everything (she had 5 puppies at the time we were there & was still breastfeeding her pups)

From the extremely friendly and pro-active staff to all the facilities this hidden gem offer us. The private beach in front of your beautiful lodge offers a vast amount of corals and fishes amazing for snorkeling and the comfortable lodge makes you feel you are in a 5 start nature eco resort. The cleaning is spotless in the lodge and the chef prepares delicious and unique meals every day! Everything is fresh, from papaya and dragon fruits planted in the back plantation, as well as eggplants, sugarcane, lemongrass and so many other fruits and vegetables. The wi-fi signal was working perfectly fine and all our needs were fulfilled by Jack, Adecya and their amazing staff! I was mesmerized by the many activities we were able to do within the Lodge area, such as tracking into the jungle, swimming to other islands and so on!

Just 2 wonderful and huge huts in great design, right on top of the reef and in the middle of wonderful original Kurkapa Village. Very friendly staff, excellent food (delivered by the kids of the family right to our huge terrace). What more can you ask for - an island paradise, with a wonderful house reef right in front of the hut. Lots of fishes and sharks living there. Hopefully we´ll be back soon! Katrin & Markus
