Situated in the Historic City Centre of Ioannina, KAMARES Historic Boutique Hotel & Spa is an 18th century mansion featuring elements of Byzantine architecture. Located 200 metres from Cathedral Church of Agios Athanasios, this hotel offers a fitness centre. Gallery of Epirus Studies Society is 400 metres from the property. We had a medical ill health issue and the staff organised a doctor and the receipt of medicine. We are not young and really valued them carrying our suitcases. Nothing was too much trouble. They looked after us with the greatest of care.

Boasting a prime location within the castle walls, this century-old restored mansion features a tranquil courtyard and charming accommodation with views over the castle. Both Wi-Fi and parking are free. Lovely small hotel located within the walls of the old city. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing!! The staff were very helpful with restaurant suggestions as well as offering us tips on what to visit.

Very friendly staff, they even served breakfast first for our pleasure, because we left early in the morning.

They helped us with parking and extended our check out time after our request. I’ve been to Ioannina a many times, and I can describe it as the best experience. Great accommodation with gorgeous views of the sea. The cleaning service was spotless. Everything is sparkling clean and well maintained. The location is ideal for Parga. The beach is steps away alongside the restaurants. We parked the car on the main street and that turned very well. The inclusive breakfast was ideal, with fried eggs and toast, plus drinks. The room, although basic, contained all that one could need for a short stay. The location adjacent to the promenade is really convenient for walking to the many nearby restaurants. This place is relatively low-cost and represents great value for money.
Everything was wonderful: location ( near the beach -2 min. & near city center -15 min ), atmosphere, design of the apartment, the spacious terrace and tasty greek cofee (on the house). Everything was very clean, meaning spotless. Greatest surprise: the hosts, very nice family : we came guests and left friends.
