It is only 5 minutes' walk from the cafés, shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a cinema. Super friendly staff from the moment we checked in. The service was excellent and the morning staff at breakfast were very friendly. A very clean dust Free hotel. I would highly recommend staying here.

It was nice to go to a property with new comfy beds and seating .....and not the owners old cast-offs ....which is so often the case. Also the property is very ‘accessible ‘ for guests who require this. Very useful in our case. There were lovely house plants throughout and fresh flowers on the dining table. Parking was easy and not confined. Even though there were neighbours all around, it was very quiet and we weren’t disturbed at all.

Highlight of the day and addictive was watching the red squirrel eat the nuts/seeds out of the feeder at the lounge window. This little cottage is quirky but welcoming and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. There is a convenience store within walking distance.
