A recently renovated guest house in Confrançon, Domaine des Granges Neuves offers sun terrace, private parking and sports facilities. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house has parking on-site, spa facilities and full-day security. We liked everything, it is a special place (an old farmhouse with a lot of charm, beautiful view off the back terrace). The hosts are exceptionally welcoming, the food, including breakfast, is great. No negative points to mention (if one accepts the particulars of an ancient building e.g. low ceiling beams), although we had problems with both the wifi and TV. Would happily stay there again.

They were so welcoming and the house was perfect! The rooms were big and totally spotless! A fantastic house hosted by a lovely couple!

I could well imagine to spend a rainy day inside. Opposit to the building is a public parking that had ample of space for free parking. We went to a restaurant located just over the street, the Milouin, which was very nice with delicious food (main dish 20 euros, menu close to 30 euros). The appartment is well located to explore the Dombes area. We loved the birds park - a must see.

Huge beautifully renovated 2 level apartment. Very spacious and authentic living room where you can be served dinner upon request and an upstairs tv room, bedroom and bathroom area. Spacious, quiet and relaxing. Just perfect. Big value for money, very pleasant atmosphere, working wifi (other comments mentioned there was none but there is), and exceptional reception from the hosts! You also have a boutique area for some shopping and the restaurant area for breakfast (I understand the latter is open on Friday Saturday and Sunday with reservation). We ordered dinner and were delighted with a very welcomed room service. Perfectly cooked meal and a bottle of wine to wrap up the trip and the night. Breakfast is served in the restaurant area and is ideal to start the day and keep moving. Highly recommend. To note: we were travelling with 3 cats and we were immediately reassured there was no problem staying with them at no extra charge!
