Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Home made food of exceptional quality, taste presentation .. like five star hotel. Ice cream freshly made on premises using local fruit in season (papaya, banana, pineapple, mango) and home made all natural ingredients is supper tasty. The accommodation is extremely specious overlooking beautiful sandy beach with amazing water colour variations. The sunrise is astonishing, orange glow half hour before sunrise followed with spectacular sunrise. The host is very friendly, attentive, worked in high end resort and it shows in food quality, presentation and in general how he treats his guest. The people in village are also very friendly. The host provided us with well priced boat transfer to the nearby Nacula Island. He arranged kayak rental, provided detailed instruction for hike to the Blue Lagoon. That easy hike is featured by fascinating views of green island mixed with palette of blue and turquoise ocean water colour.

Ravita Cove HomeAway from Home HomeStay

Matacawalevu

Featuring a private beach area, Ravita Cove HomeAway from Home HomeStay is set in Matacawalevu and also provides a garden and a shared lounge. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The homestay offers a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Paradise found!! Our family spent 4 nights at Ravita Cove with 2 adults & 2 children and had the most unforgettable experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked it, but the reviews and location were good so I went for it. They came with their boat and picked us up from the Yasawa Flyer and brought us “home”. The beautiful home is on its own private beach- the most perfect beach - and set just a few feet away. We had 2 bedrooms and shared the bathroom with the host, Kuki. Kuki goes above and beyond to spoil his guests- 3 delicious meals prepared for us daily, all the daily activities are planned out and the details shared with us the day before so we now what time to be ready and what to bring. These rural islands work on the tide, so we would leave every morning around 9am for activities and be back by 1 pm before low tide so that we could dock. You are forced to relax in the afternoons and it was glorious. Some of the activities they took us to were snorkeling at Blue Lagoon, a school and village visit, and the Sawa-i-Lau caves. We also loved snorkeling and rock climbing at our own private Ravita Cove. On our last night, they threw a big Lovo feast with a kava ceremony. They treated us like family and it was more beautiful and special than I could have ever imagined.

There were several hammocks, chairs, available for use as well as kayaks, life jackets, flippers & snorkelling gear, (a volley ball net) & volley ball that you can borrow. West facing with unobstructed views of the sunset. The resort had a pleasant/soft breeze that was perfect. The Bures are so lovely; everything is brand new and built beautifully. Each bures has a bed, 2 night tables, a chair & a fridge. The Bures had a fantastic front decks with of a pair of chairs + a picnic table in front yard of each bure. There is daily maid service. Wifi was good by bar/restaurant. 24 hour electricity. No AC- but the ceiling fan was excellent & kept the room cool & circulated the air. The staff were 10/10. They went above & beyond. They memorized your name & were eager to make sure experience was absolutely perfect. They made our trip incredible. Thank you! The owner was wonderful & we enjoyed chatting with him. We applaud him on building such an lovely resort! Meals were served 3X’s a day. The meal package is $135 FJD per day & mandatory. Sunrise Lagoon Homestay

Nanuya Lailai

Sunrise Lagoon Homestay is offering accommodation in Nanuya Lailai. Located on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area, water sports facilities and a garden. The homestay has family rooms. Was such a wholesome experience meeting this family. Their way of life and being apart of it. Very real. They live off the land and sea predominantly. Went fishing and got to eat the fish we caught. The beach is right at your doorstep with crystal clear waters! So relaxing! This is their village, their island. So appreciative of them having us. There's only one little supermarket on the other side of the island. About 20mins. Such a beautiful walk over there. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent. Theres not too many mozzys but just in case. My partner and I are so glad we didnt go to a fancy resort. If you're not open-minded and adventurous, maybe go somewhere else. Thank you Lice and Jo for having us. We will be back. :):):):):)
