Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The property is very remote, you can’t find it without a car. The lady working there is amazing. You forgive small issues connected to your stay just because of how nice this lady is. She is in love with her country, the nature and the animal around. My 10 points is to her really. As for accommodation it was good, the breakfast (cooked by the same lady) is great. You stay in the jungle and no one around. You wake up to howling monkeys sitting next to your room around 5-6am. So be ready.

Situated in Sarapiquí, 1 km from La Selva Biological Station main area, the lodge has a garden and a shared lounge at the dining hall, as well as free WiFi. Guests can enjoy forest and garden views, and walk in more than 7 miles (16 kilometers) of paved trails. The breakfast was adequate in a pleasant open, convenient location. The staff in the reception office were especially friendly and helpful. The guides for our hikes were very knowledgeable and responsive to participants. They showed and briefly described important research being done there. The area is incredibly beautiful and full of magnificent wildlife. I appreciated the emphasis on sustainability.

It was a bit cold when we were there, so we had the chance of lighting a fire in the fireplace of the room (wood and stuffs to light a fire is provided in the room), which made the evenings extra special. The staff is very welcoming, and the restaurant very good. All in all, a delightful stay!

Couples love the location- (couples and families). peaceful, simple but had all the necessities, so many birds, hammock!!, fan, and Wendy and her family were very helpful and delightful! super close to a beautiful waterfall with a nice cool walk through the forest, and nearby to a river swim spot!

Fishing can be enjoyed nearby. Also you can enjoy all the nature and the panoramic view and do a lot of activities. The breakfast was amazing and it was delivered to our floor. Nixon was an amazing host, he was super helpful! We can highly recommend to stay there.

Its remote location allows for activities preferred by nature lovers such as bird watching. The lodge is located at 88 km form Juan Santamaría International Airport. The property was very simple but it was everything we needed. The water pressure and temperature was good, the bed was comfortable, the food was good, the WiFi worked, the staff was friendly. The location was incredible. It really was a unique experience. The guided tours were really cool. We saw howler and spider monkeys, five different snakes, all sort of frogs, many birds. The guide was really knowledgeable and Pedro was super helpful. I would absolutely recommend staying here to someone.
