IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn is a family run hotel, situated on an elevation in the Ennstal valley in Styria, at the foot of the Grimming mountain massif. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is offered. My girlfriend and I were doing a tour of Austria and we wanted a calm place to simply switch off and relax. Imlauer Hotel Schloss Pichlarn was an excellent choice. We actually liked it so much that we stayed an extra night. We chose the breakfast and dinner option. I have to say that the price was more than fair for Austria during the peak summer season. The entire experience was incredible. The hotel had organized transport for us from the train station. The staff was really polite (especially Patrick). Everything was really clean and the view from the winter garden is incredible. There are a lot of visitors who go there to play golf, but there are a lot of other experiences to be had. We went on a day trip to Hallstatt. It is just 45 minutes by train. You can also do day trips to other lakes. Much better than going from Salzburg. It was really an incredible experience that I will remember for a very long time. I highly recommend it. Also, don't forget to go on a quest and visit the local chicken farm. There is an automated store where you can buy local delicacies from the farmers!

We visited over the weekend by car, so we appreciated that we could find parking spot on the street- parking is free over the weekend. Appartment was very clean and very well equipped. Great inexpensive hotel! Everything was very clean and tidy. Our room (double) was cleaned every day, garbage was taken out. The corridors themselves are clean, the hotel is clean, the shared toilet in the lobby is also clean, the shared kitchen is clean, there is a kettle, microwave, stove and dishes for it. I saw a lot of negative reviews, but everything was wonderful for us. The hotel staff is very friendly, courteous and ready to help. For its cheap cost, this option was wonderfully suitable for us in order to spend the night for 2 days
