The lady at the front desk was amazing and very personal in a good way. She asked if we're wee attending the convention across the street and she was happy we chose to stay where we stayed for it. Staff was expecting me and recognised me even before I showed any booking proof. Hotel pictures look like the renovation esp the toilet wasn’t the newest style so I was thinking it might be run down but it is actually sparkling clean! Even the carpet in the corridor is so clean, any 5 star hotel couldn’t be cleaner. Staff is super helpful and friendly. They are not trained to behave like a 5 star hotel staff but they are nice and friendly from heart. I like that better! Hotel is very quiet and safe, location is just off the highway. Altoona is a beautiful and peaceful town we didn’t want to move in we wanted to stay there!
