Andrew and his parents welcomed us as if we were part of the family, they even let us eat with them in the evening and cooked us an excellent dinner with local products. They also recommended different activities for the day and Andrew is really helpful if you need a hand with transport or to organise some activities. Great place to stay if you are discovering Mgahinga National Park. Right in the local village. The place was very clean, breaky was yummy. The food at the restaurant (which is about 1km away) was really delicious too. Emma (staff of accommodation) has helped us out so much. Directing us into the right direction of where to start our gorilla trekking. Helping with organazing the golden monkey trek. Helping when there was any problem at the accommodation itself. He took us on a walking tour around the village and we had a fun game of volleyball with him and his friends. He accompanied us everywhere we went. I can highly recommend this place. I would stay there again no doubt. Thank you Emma so much for everything.

I liked everything about Motel Santaviva. The rooms are clean and large. The restaurant has a vast choice of good dishes. But most importantly, the staff is amazing! The manager Ivan is albsolutely fantastic, he was always there to accomodate any request. He is truly an amazing host who puts his soul into his job! You won't find any other hotel at this level in Kisoro. I had tried other hotels in the area and these were more expensive for way less services. I would absolutely recommend Motel Santaviva!
