The view is amazing. The best place to stay at Uvac, especially if you are traveling with friends — then you can book a few rooms and have the whole apartment for yourself. It was a low season, so our two rooms were the only occupied rooms out of 4, so it was plenty of common space for 4 people. For more, it would be crowded. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking. We forgot the oil, but the owner was so kind to share his own. The owner also helped us find a guide who took us to a boat ride to the cave, which was a big help in the low season. We hiked right from the cabin to the bridge and to the nearest camp. Which was abandoned in the low season along with the starving stray dogs and puppies, so if you love pets, bring some dog food — it can save a life.

The hosts are very warm, welcoming, and forthcoming! The little house is clean, well equipped for living (sleeping, cooking, whatever you need), and homey; reaching it by a combination of bus and taxi was quite easy. The walk over the hills from the house to the beautiful view of the Uvac river was most enjoyable! - but a ride to this spot is also available. I was delighted to see several great griffon vultures flying over the area.
