This place is excellent by I can´t understand why in a 5 star hotel I have to pay to use the spa facilities (inside pool, steam bath sauna, etc.). It makes no sense.
The staff is the best we can find. I travel a lot and the profissionalism and kindness of the staff is the best I can find, even I notice they are very limited for the amount of people they need to attend. Nevertheless they make a high standard service.

It was a real pleasure to stay here, and after just one day, I felt like one of the family! I tried in portuguese to say there was no hot water but, by their reaction, I thought I'd got it wrong and said something like the bed was on fire! Needless to say, the minor problem was immediately sorted.
The room was fantastic, modern and clean. I can not understand why other people have not given it 5*****.

Lovely location with wonderful views out across vineyards. Very quiet … and if you like your wine, then Mr Manuel, the owner will take you on a tour of his wine production facilities… helping you to decide which bottle to choose to accompany your evening meal.
I have now stayed here twice. Once in a superior room - fantastic. and once in a standard room - good apart from the shower curtain. But its a fantastic building in a great location and the owner is really friendly. If you have paid ahead you only need the code to get into the house and to your room. This is all supplied via WhatsApp - very sensible.
Maria and Manuel are fabulous hosts, we drank the wine made on the vineyard made by Manuel and Maria cooked a wonderful meal for us each night. Nothing was too much trouble, we enjoyed sitting by the pool and walking in nearby woods.
This beautifully restored property is spotlessly clean throughout.
Fantastic location for connecting with nature. Home made wine and local crops that can be appreciated in a friendly chat with the owners of the property. 10/10 experience - highly recommended!
Breakfast was OK, with all basic items available, some of the food items needed to be asked separately. It is great to have a dinner service at the location available, as the location of the hotel is rather far away from any nearest food store, restaurant or cafeteria. Friendly and helpful owners.
