The house was in a small village next door to a cafe/restaurant. This was a lovely calm place to stay with everything you needed. It was lovely to spend time just walking around the countryside and village. The bread man does the rounds of the village each day tooting his horn and stopping to sell his wonderful fresh bread,

It’s a beautiful house in a lovely location just outside Seia. Elio is a wonderful host and does everything he can to make you feel welcomed. If you choose to have dinner there, his sister Gina cooks amazing food (in generous quantities) and you’ll spend some time getting to know the other guests and host, eating together at the dining table. The breakfast was great too, with lots of local products like figs and even homemade cheese. The dog was very sweet too!

The accomodation is based in small village where the old houses are renewed and arranged in traditional look. The restaurant is close by, it's specious and breakfast choice is very good.
Recomendation to anyone who visits Serra de Estrella. Owner has several dogs and they are all around, very friendly.

It is a little cold due to mountainous location. However, there is enough blanket and warmer if required. It has a very good location to stay if you travel in this area.
