We had a wonderful stay at Casa de Madeira. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, and the kitchen is just like home, with absolutely everything we needed. The view from the garden is astonishing. We were enchanted by the owner's kindness and we loved the two dogs who welcomed us as well. Many thanks to the owner for making our stay remarkable!

Immaculate. The cleanist room I've ever been to. The cleaning staffs must get a raise because the room is cleaner than my own house (and believe me when I say this, I clean my house everyday). I was a bit worried when I saw that we were placed on the ground floor, which is about half floor down from the ground, due to the fact that previous guests have raised concerns about dampness. But after turmimg the heater/AC on for 10 mins, there was no need to worry ( beddings were a bit daml when we first walked in). As for the noise, maybe we got lucky but I didn't hear anything despite going to bed at 7pm. Our room came with the best TV we've seen so far in Portugal. Samsung smart TV is a fantastic addition when your establishment is in a small village like albergaria. We also utilized the shared kitchen which was fully equipped. A great option to have as a pilgrim walking the camino. Oh and I do have to mention the shower. The water pressure is like a power wash. I LOVED IT.

We enjoyed our stay there. It is great that dogs are accepted, as they are part of the family. They were excited to run a bit in the yard, which is fenced. It is a small house, but perfect for a couple with 2 dogs. At 2 minutes walk there is a forest where we could unleash them. They had the time of their life there. The property is perfect to disconnect from the big cities and to enjoy the sounds of the nature. The owner was very nice. As the house was not occupied, we could check in earlier. It was very appreciated after 22 hrs drive.
