We spent the afternoon relaxing on the terrace enjoying the atmosphere before climbing into a very comfortable bed for a great nights sleep. Great place to stay. Comfortable for 6 people, there is enough space for everyone. A nice plus is the outside area in front of the house. We booked the place to go rock climbing in the nearby areas (Redinha, Burracas) and the location was great. The house is located in a small village but luckily there is a bakery, small supermarket and pharmacy in walking distance. Additionally, next doors they sell very nice craft beer. The host was very friendly and helpful, he even gave us a little welcome gift and organized us some very nice olive oil from the area. I would recommend this place 100%

The house as well as the entire property is absolutely gorgeous. The owners put a lot of attention to the details both inside the house and outside. Everything is amazingly well looked after, it is absolutely clean and very tidy. The house is equipped with everything that one could need and we felt very comfortable. The owners cared for us since the beginning with a proactive communication and even came to look after the pool in between to ensure it is all in order. Sadly we (a family of five with three kids aged 6, 8 and 11) only had time to stay for three nights, but we would love to come back for a longer stay in future. The village itself is very calm and there are some great ancient mosaics to discover in the local museum. And there is a lot more to experience in the area. This is a renovated cottage that is hidden away in the country. It was a wonderful place to sit outside and relax, we basically had the "abandoned village" all for ourselves :). Definitely need a car, but well worth being off the beaten path. Easily accessible to places to visit. It was a little chilly, but blankets & heaters were provided. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything for cooking. Bed was comfortable.
