A brand new hotel with superb views over the Colca Canyon. The restaurant overlooking the valley and mountains beyond is very good, with the alpaca dishes being particularly tasty. There was a better than average selection for breakfast, and service was attentive but not intrusive. The barman (whose name I didn't catch, sadly) mixes a very decent Pisco Sour. There is parking to the rear of the building. The staff (particularly Gaudi the receptionist/concierge) were friendly and genuinely seemed to want us to have a great time. Apparently there is a also sauna, but we didn't use it. The room was very comfortable, with an open (gas) fire and spa bath,. The kettle was a welcome addition.

The hotel was really great with a fantastic view on the terrace of the mountain. To have a break in the region of Colca, this is perfect and so peaceful. Which made the experience unique was the horse walk we had on the ruins of Uyo Uyo, tour organized thanks to the hotel. Totally recommend if looking a place in this area, I would say better than in Chivay.
