Fantastic spot, very comfortable bed, exceptionally welcoming and friendly staff. Could not have been more helpful. Got up to cook us a great breakfast at 4.30am so we could start our climb back out of the canyon at first light, avoiding the heat of the day. Great food in the evening too. Gloria has a well deserved reputation as the best cook in the canyon.

We stayed here for 1 night prior to our colca canyon hike. Pachamama is a nice little hotel, with wonderful staff that also speaks English fluently. They gave us information about the hike, including a map. Our room was nice and cosy, with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The breakfast and diner were amazing too!

We stayed for 1 night after our colca canyon hike. Turned out we were the only customers that night, which was nice. The views from the property are amazing, especially the night sky (with milky way!). Diner was simple but pleasant. They also have one hot spring for you to relax in after hiking all day. The other pools were cold. Since we had to leave early, the host prepared a nice breakfast to go.

Cielo Lodge was my favourite places to stay in Peru - the location is as beautiful, rooms were comfortable and the pool area was perfect to relax. The real highlight is Rinaldo who was the most welcoming host - he was so friendly and really went out his way to make sure you had a great stay. His pisco sours are also excellent. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly!
