We loved the cottage - 5 of us stayed there and it was great Very Cutie and well presented

The property includes a spacious historic villa, 2 basic family cabins, a renovated Caravan called Lolly, modern shared bathrooms, lounge, kitchens and a camp ground at the back. Free WiFi is available throughout the property as well as free parking.

Lovely place with a great atmosphere. Sadly we only stayed for one night as we were on the return journey of our trip back to Christchurch, and needed a bed for the night. Could have easily stayed here for a few nights to enjoy the area.

    Theatre Royal Hotel was brilliant! It was exactly what we needed for the weekend which was for a motorbike rally. Great facilities as we rented a cottage. Location was a bit further from where we thought but the hotel provided a courtesy coach which was great. They also dropped in firewood for the fire.

    Staff very helpful. Burrage Cottage is a unique themed accommodation which is well presented. Very quiet location with a nice garden.

    Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom ( and a beautiful claw foot bath in master bedroom ) cottage was delightful, peppered with antiques and reminders of the past. Very clean and comfortable

    Cottage was comfortable and clean. We all slept well. The showers were hot and powerful. Very peaceful location. For the price , split between 2 couples, it was very good value.
