Everything was fantastic, including our lovely host. The lodge is in a beautiful spot and lovelier than the pics. The view is just wow. The property is clean, cosy and the furniture in the lodge is comfortable, well thought out and in great condition. My sister inlaw was delighted to be greeted by the hosts lovely dog.

We didn't want to leave this place. It had everything we needed. We didn't realise just how close it was to the beach - around 50m, which was amazing. Such a quiet and peaceful location. Chris was really friendly when we checked in.

We had a magical stay at Wild Weka. The location superseded all our expectations. The site of this property is unimaginable with unsurpassed views of the ocean and the peace and quiet uncanny. The trip to get to the property is so enchanting and travelling north from here is jaw dropping. Wish we could have stayed longer.
The house is beautifully designed within the landscape and as a guest you will want for nothing. What a credit this house is for tourism in the West Coast of New Zealand. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

Such a beautifully restored lodge, clean comfortable, plenty of space both inside and outside. Was perfect for our family group of 12! Lovely location with the beach right at the edge of the backyard and gorgeous outdoor space to relax and enjoy the sunset!! Rooms are large, peaceful and comfortable, well equipped kitchen too! Had pretty much everything we needed.
We loved our stay at the Ghost Lodge. The location was amazing, and the lodge was cozy. We used the hot tub which was right on the beach with amazing views at sunset.
Great beachfront location. Perfect place to watch the sunset. The house is very cool. Lots of different bedding configurations for friends & families sharing. Bring your own food to cook dinner as there are no restaurants nearby. The breakfast provided was excellent too.
Love it.
It was the perfect place to relax in the sitting room on a wet day, it was warm and toasty with the fire going. Great location beside the beach - it'll be nice to stay again, preferably when it is not raining!
Terrific location right on the edge of the Tasman Sea. Very clean & tidy. Plentiful kitchen equipment in a well appointed kitchen. Numerous comfortable places to relax.
Beautiful location. Stunning property with lots of thought having gone into it. Ideal for larger families or group getaways. Would be a welcome retreat after completing the Old Ghost Road I imagine.
