We visited this place in the off – period so the surrounding was quiet. The house is well reacheable. A car can be parked right in front of the house. The interior is light and clean. There are huge windows which makes the whole place nicely airy. The living room is spacious, there is a dinning table with chairs as well. Kitchen is equipped with the basic dishes one needs for common cooking. We got two bedrooms. The bed linen was freshly washed and packed in seperate bags. We also received towels in three sizes.
The flat has a huge terrace with a wonderful view on the fjord. Too bad we did not spend here more days to enjoy it enough.

The hotel is situated in a tiny picturesque village from the late 19th century by the Luster fjord, overlooking a fantastic view. It has Norway’s best breakfast with everything you may wish, and fantastic service.
For extra luxury, enjoy a wonderful 4-course dinner prepared by some of our best chefs, followed by a drink and coffee in the garden.
We stayed in one of the modern rooms, which has plenty of space and a nice porch on the lawn to enjoy the morning sun.
This is a must see for everyone who just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape. It’s not cheap, but it’s with it.

Communication was great - and the key was in the door of the apartment, so easy for check in. The location is very scenic, providing a nice view from the large picture window in the lounge area. The TV is a good size, and the kitchen has most things you need (a microwave oven would be fab). The bathroom is a good size, and the shower is hot and plenty of water. The bed, whilst tricky to get in to, is very comfy, and the linen lovely too.

A little out of the way but very comfortable when you arrive. Full kitchen if you want to cater for yourself and wood fired stove to keep nice and cosy. After doing some of the local hikes it was very nice to come back and use the spa. We even had a visit from the friendly local cows.

We came to Øvre Årdal for a weekend of hiking, and this apartment was perfect for us (3 friends). Very central location, easy parking right next to the front door, close to everything you need (grocery shops, restaurant, swimming pool, hiking trails). Spacious apartment, two good size bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, TV with Netflix. The host was very helpful, responsive and easy to communicate with.
We had dinner at the restaurant on one of the nights and can highly recommend it, Thai food was very tasty!

In average a really nice place to stay if you are in the area, with small common kitchen, breakfast, camping area...
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Great location with wonderful view on the fjord, the tent was very comfortable, clean and tidy, good standard of bathroom despite it was outside. Great kitchen next to the tents..

A superb hut in an excellent location. This overnight stay was probably the best one we had in Norway. - wish we could have stayed there longer. I will certainly try and stay there again.
Quiet surrounding. Complete silence, and the beautiful view from the tarrace.
The house was bigger than we expected, very clean. Fireplace inside!!!! The toilet inside, the bathroms outside, but very nice, big and equiped with everything you need.
