The whole visit to Hotel De Magistraat was superb, and Willemstad is a most interesting town, with a quaint harbour and multiple choice of dining locations. It is a newly re-developed hotel, and the owners have done everything right. Our room was delightful, lots of space, beautifully decorated and furnished, with a wonderful large walk in wet room/shower room. Around the hotel the decoration, furnishings and EVERYTHING was just so great. In the morning, breakfast was "presented" as almost a ceremony, with a wonderful spread of cold meat, cheese, delicious bread choice and plenty more. If we are ever anywhere near this location again, we will change our route to stay here again. To score it - 12 out of 10!

The reservation was made for my mother, who is an elderly woman. The distance to the city was made difficult because of the weather. But when I asked them if they could help her out with some extra food to her room, as she hadn't made it to the city due to bad weather, they acted right away, and she got served some bread and cheese in her room.
