Lovely property tucked away in just above the main part of village. Staff were very helpful with any arrangements for a trek and transfers.
We had a guided walk and lunch arranged.
We had a lovely dinner in the property in the evening.

Relaxed here a few days and Rachid organised a trek for us, thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Breakfast & dinner at the Riad was also typical and healthy.
The main thing is that I recommend highly is the Ourika valley trek organised by Rachid, for several days after we left the Riad Mustafa and Hussain looked after us on the trekking route. Bare in mind you still have to walk yourself it can be strenuous but the places you see are well worth it, see photos.
Located in Imlil, Toubkal Ecolodge features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. The riad has ski-to-door access and ski storage space, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant.

This was just amazing stay..we couldn't choose better place. From airport pick up, acommodation, staff and food (huge breakfast and amazing dinnerr, the best mint tea). We absolutely loved our stay. Rachid thanks for everything.

Abdul, who I guess you'd say was the manager there, was exceptional. 100% friendly, eager to help, but not in an overbearing way - always knew when to talk, and when to leave you alone. We had many, many chats, and he showed a genuine interest in me, without having any ulterior motives, which I thought was refreshing. Speaks really good English too. Just an excellent human being.
I stayed there either side of climbing Mt Toubkal. I stayed in different rooms. Both were clean, and beautiful, and perfect for my needs. Breakfasts were large (for me) and delicious, and the spaghetti bolognese was so good I had it all 3 days I was there (note, I'm not a foodie, so other people may disagree - though a young Belgium couple thought so too!)
On a separate note, Imlil is a beautiful place, and the views from the terrace of Targa Imoula, with Mt Toubkal facing you, are stunning stunning, stunning!

Excellent host. Attentive, hospitable, friendly. Flexible online communication. Nice decorated rooms, perfectly airconditioned. The corner bath like we have at home. Comfortable beds. Located at a convenient city part, very close to Toubkal park entrance. Simple but very tasty breakfast. Overall the place was clean, reliable and with amazing views from roof terrace. Free parking on the street some 80 stairs above the room. Special source of free drinking water.
The Riad is situated on the outskirts of Imlil village near the river and looks up to the Kasbah and Toubkal and is about a 10-minute walk from the Kasbah.

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. We stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed hiking in the neighbourhood. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were great and the evening meals good value with plenty of choice. The pool and gardens are well-maintained. The staff are very attentive and helpful. They even provided a breakfast tray when we were leaving early for a flight. The hotel is good value and we recommend it.
The perfect location and the price. The fact that they were offering this completely out of season. A good restaurant nearby. Electrical heating in bathroom and bedroom and a nice woodstove.

An ideal location for birdwatching in the Atlas Mountains. A good starting point for walks. Large comfortable rooms with radiators for the chilly nights. Plenty of options for vegetarians.
