We had a fabulous stay at Coastal Villa. The hosts are so obliging, courteous and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed.
We had a delicious home cooked meal as well that was set out in our own dining room.

Our stay at this accommodation in Sri Lanka was one of the best we’ve had during our trip. What truly impressed us was how well the property caters to the needs of European travelers, something that isn’t always common in the country. Everything—from the shower to the bed, pillows, and toiletries—met the highest standards.
The accommodation also featured a spacious living room, which we used for breakfast and for working, making it feel like a true home away from home. We had convenient parking right next to the house, which added to the overall ease and comfort of our stay.
A huge thank you to the owner for being incredibly helpful, promptly answering all our questions, and supporting us from the moment we made the booking. I should also mention that everything in the accommodation is brand new, making the experience even better.

It was a quite new property. Well equipped, clean, neat & tidy. Quite close to public beach, only about 150m. Has parking within the property. Owner & the staff were friendly. I can see a few possible improvements in the booking process.

My stay at this guest house was fantastic! The beach is only a short stroll away, and the serene surroundings filled with the sounds of birds made for an incredibly soothing getaway. The rooms provided everything I needed, were comfortable and well-kept. I also like that they had cycles available so I could go around the region with ease. I had a great yoga lesson on-site, and that really renewed me. All in all, a fantastic location, calm surroundings, and well thought-out amenities made my stay very remarkable. I heartily suggest it to anyone searching for a tranquil beach getaway.

Sugi is a very nice person, he made me feel comfortable and took care from the first moment.
He comunicated with me in the phone, to know when I'm arriving to peek me up from the train.
Nice minimal room with personal shower and toilet, and a ventilater.
I arrived late with the train, and almoat everything was closed, so Sugi took me with he's scooter to find a place to eat.
Next day Sugi and he's family made me a lunch, traditional rice and curry, very tasty.
Nice place and real family experience, spanding some time with them, the kids, his wife and grandmother, they all were very nice to me :)

Was a last minute book but the owner was very helpful and friendly. We arrived late as our Tuk Tuk journey was delayed along the way but he waited for us to arrive and recommended a good restaurant up the road to eat! Room was clean & our stay was a good one! The location of the hotel was quiet and located only 200m from the beach. The room was equipped basically but with everything you need. It was clean. The cordial couple running the hotel were always friendly, helpful and courteous. All requests regarding transportation, travel advice and extra requests were fulfilled immediately. We would come back at any time.
As we were driving our own tuktuk it proved a perfect location for us. Our huge room with 2 comfy beds and 2 balconies was fabulous. We got to see the sunset and sunrise. Loved the pool and the meal in the outside bure were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Location was the best.

The garden is beautiful and lovely with a lot of places to sit and hang and escape the heat. One minute walking distance to the beach. The owner is so sweet and helpful and even provided a very cheap breakfast even though it wasn’t originally a possibility.
The location is a bit away from the bustling city, giving a much more tranquil experience. There are a few restaurants a kilometer away and the possibility for (cheap) take-away.
We were staying at Juda Holiday for two nights! The owners were really friendly helping us with what to do in Batticaloa, organised bikes for us and recommended us a really cheap really good restaurant! it was possible as well to get dinner and breakfast at the house :)
The room was like in the pictures, clean and comfortable :) the location is really good, close to the beach and easy to get anywhere with the bike
