We needed emergency accommodation after our flight was cancelled at boarding. It was about a 30 min taxi from Narita International Airport. We were greeted by a young man close to midnight who welcomed us and got us settled.
The home is a beautiful traditional residence, located in the countryside, with basic necessities provided.
Unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to explore the area as we had to return to catch a rescheduled flight the next morning, but a wonderful experience. Personal transportation would be beneficial for longer stays.

location-5 min easy walk from station, breakfast & dinner very good, the thermal baths, very good local restaurants and cafes near by( the small bar/restaurant across the road -opp the front door entrance was our best night out in Japan-food -10/10, cost 10/10, atmosphere- 10/10, the owners catering to english speaking tourist -10/10). Great friendly caring staff throughout the whole hotel.
This was a cycling trip for me and a few friends. The location was great. Hotel staff were very accommodating, since we requested to take our 5K plus road bike into the room for peace of mind and safety. Overall, great value and location to train stations or restaurants if needed.
