The location was perfect for us and our requirements while visiting Castilenti. We were received exceptionally well by Alessia, who despite my limited Italian, managed to communicate all facilities and local amenities very well in English. We enjoyed a superb evening meal from an extensive Italian menu in the restaurant below, the reception and service we received was also exceptional. We enjoyed a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed in a clean room with an en suit shower room. Breakfast was arranged and had at a local cafe bar where we were made to feel very welcome indeed by the owner and customers alike. A thoroughly enjoyable experience throughout. We also enjoyed an evening get together with locals at a "Emergency" charity do held at Osteria Palazzo Ducale. Thanks to all, hope to see you again.

Tamara and Albert are great hosts! We stayed in the Casetta (separate house). Fantastic views. Very quiet. The Casetta is very comfortable and has everything for self catering. But, Tamara makes great pastas and a unprecedented breakfast, served on a grapevine covered terrace with view on the snow covered Gran Sasso. If you are in to hiking or even mountaineering, Albert can take you there. It was a bit too cold outside for us to use the wellness facilities, but they looked tempting. The lounge beds and small “infinity” pool make this oases in the Abruzzo hills complete.
