Family apartment with two rooms was great. Furnished with antiques. Very warm. Shared kitchen was well equipped including tea, coffee, cereals and the with washing machine. Shared showers had Tre Semme shampoo and conditioner, Neutral body soap and dressing gowns. Great location in sheltered bay overlooking a small beach, the estuary and surrounding mountains. Great restaurant. Ask owner to see her antique toy museum. Great locating for watch the sunsets and auroras (if you are there at the right time).

The house was very cozy and had everything we could need, even some board games! The location was very convenient, quite close from Reykjavik and from Snæfellsnes peninsula.

Massive apartment, could easily fit 8 pax. Well equipped kitchen. Location was lovely, at the outskirts of the town, around 8 minutes drive, so easy access to plenty groceries and restaurant options. Was lucky to catch northern lights here, places was dark enough for easy viewing.
The cottage is tucked away from a town about 10 minutes away so you won't have problem finding food/petrol/groceries. You share the area with 2 other cottages. You will have everything you need to cook up a meal. Check in was easy. Cottage was clean. Light pollution was minimal so ideal for northern lights. The night sky put on a show that night.
