A highlight of our stay! Even though Goa Walet is away from the main towns in Lombok it is well worth the detour. The surrounding greenery is stunning and we were able to enjoy it fully on the hike guided by Ozi. Ozi and his family made us feel so welcome and provided delicious homemade food. Thank you so much for having us and we wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Our stay at Tastura was a highlight of our trip. The rooms are small, quaint and very clean. The waterfalls are near by and are beautiful, but what really made the trip special was the family who runs Tastura. They are warm and welcoming. We had dinner with them twice and enjoyed great conversation and the food was the best we‘ve had in Indonesia. We visited the waterfalls and rice fields accompanied by one of the brothers. We stayed 4 nights in this property and it was my best experience from my whole trip in Indonesia. Hero and Dani are the best hosts ever, they like to share the sasak culture and teach a lot of things about traditions, food, everything… We met a lot of local people, even participated to a traditional wedding, went to teach English to children, it was so enriching. We felt like a part of a big family. I will miss you guys, I hope I could come back to see you again. Don’t hesitate to go in this place, I recommend 100 % !

Fantastic value for money. Picturesque and serene location. Clean and very comfortable homestay. The locals are so friendly. Adi was the perfect host, looked after us very well, and cooks delicious food. His nephew, Eddie, is a knowledgeable guide and owns the Tereng wilis bungalows up the road that has great food at his warung. There are a lot of mosques in the area, and the muezzins start early, but we got used to them very quickly.

The little bungalow you stay in is in the heart of a local village in Lombok, surrounded by rice fields. Asmuni, the host, was the friendliest and nicest host I’ve ever had. He showed us lots of different Lombok culture and traditions and provided some lovely breakfast for us. He completely made the stay for us and I could not recommend it more

I was welcomed into this family with such warmth and generosity - my heart is full ! Herman took me to visit the local school, waterfall, rice fields, pottery workshop and bamboo weavers - quite possibly the most beautiful part of my holiday 🧡 I was fed and taken care of so well - thank you so much! Recommended if you want to experience a local village and a beautiful family.
