Amazing place, located next to a beautiful beach and many cafes with delicious local food. At the same time, it is very quiet and peaceful at night. We appreciated the air conditioners that worked well. Also, the beds and bedding were great! Big thanks to our hosts who left us some wine and fruits, and even gave us local tips. Convenient location, quiet, spacious, equipped, lovely staff, great view. We were taken care of daily and it felt like a home away from home. Plaka is also one of our most favorite beaches in Crete. Thank you to our host Manolis who is a pleasure to get to know. The little cafe in front is a nice space for breakfast and lunch or to work in shade or sun. You can walk everywhere or drive or take the bus to nearby Elounda or Agios Nikolaos. It is often very windy but the beach is protected from the wind so it is never choppy. You can slip out of bed and stroll down to the beach anytime. We stayed for two weeks and had everything we needed. If it is not there, just ask and you shall have it.
