Wonderful view of the mountains and the valley. Nice terrace for the morning, afternoon and evening sun. Very friendly and helpful host. Plenty of fresh food in the refrigerator for the first breakfast.

I was looking for some peace and quiet away from the `Madding Crowd` so-to-speak. Here I found it! The beach was only but a short drive away and I felt I had the best of both worlds. The little village down the way, has some very good local food restaurants. Good location to run in the evenings, flanked by the picturesque sea views and the ruinous charms of Hellenes, you can't quiet help feeling the surreality of it juxtaposed to the `old routine`. I suggest go with a Kafka or maybe a Sartre to maximise the experience.

We have stayed in Villa Silvia only 2 nights but it was enough to assess how great this place is. The villa is immaculate and confortable. The view is stunning, the area super quiet and at the same time, only 10 minutes away from nice beaches and tavernas, and Chania city centre.
