Supermarket nearby, but anyway the village is very small. There is a beach next to the port but the nice Fanari beach is 5mins by car.

Very clean and modern room, with a comfortable bed, terrace facing the port and well-equipped kitchen with nice breakfast included! The town of Fanari is quaint and beautifully located, with amazing sites located at a short driving distance. We came in the winter and were amazed by the natural beauty of the Rhodope mountains in the distance, the strips of land with the sea on one side and the lagoons on the other, and especially the flamingos grazing in the lagoons. The proximity of the beautiful monastery of Agios Nikolaos is another merit of the location. We hope to come to Nero again in warmer weather so we can swim in the sea and make the most of the amazing local beaches!

The Garden Rooms are in an excellent location. They are just set back from the road with everything in easy walking distance but no noise. The bed was very comfortable and the outside seating area perfect. The air conditioner was great, well positioned and quiet. The shower worked well and fly screen doors were really helpful. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Perfect for a 5 day break.
