Philip's Summerhouse is the perfect secluded getaway on the lovely island of Kefalonia. The steep road down brings you to the cute house at the waterfront. Close to a beach (1 min. walk) where I haven't seen anyone else for the course of 7 days. It is completely quite and the mornings and sunsets from the balcony are amazing (including astounding views). It is easy to explore the rest of the island (car or scooter is essential). I was welcomed with open arms by Philip and his wife upon arrival. They even gifted me a bottle of local wine, 2 bottles of water and some local snacks. It was easy to leave the key in the locker box when I left. The house had everything (especially the airco is a must during summer time) and was very spacious. Would definitely recommend! :-)

Never been to a holiday apartment so well equipped. Kitchen all set for cooking, books to read and super comfortable beds. It is super clean, super calm and with a beautiful view. We would definitely stay here again.

The stunning views! Truly mazing view!! The house has lovely decoration and the kitchen is well equipped with some very kind treats awaiting the guests (organic eggs, bottle of wine). The little window in the bedroom was also super cute and the fact that there was a wardrobe with towels and bedding should you need something more.

Beautiful little villa! Tidy and spacious with everything you need. And the pool is just magical! George was very helpful and welcoming. The advert does not state it, but George stays downstairs of the villa. It did not bother us, we did not even know he was there and the villa is extremely large, he also helped us get inside when we locked ourselves out haha! The house is very nice, the little pool very very nice when it is hot as it is in summer ! It is difficult to find but well placed, close to nice beaches, close to a lot we wanted to visit and not too far from Argostoli. But you need a car, for sure, as you need it anyway as the island is very big and if you want to visit it.
